Terms of Use
The terms for using this site
Updated November 4, 2026
These terms cover powerlawperformance.com, its newsletter, its tools and everything you can download from it. Power Law Performance is published by Broad Eye Solutions LLC, PO Box 3243, Wakefield, MA 01880, United States. Using the site means you agree to these terms. How your information is handled is in the Privacy Policy.
Information, not advice
The articles, the library, the guides and the tools explain how power law dynamics show up in marketing, sales and revenue, and what teams can change. They’re general information, not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and not advice for your business in particular. Examples have identifying details changed or removed, and charts marked illustrative show the shape, not real data. What you decide to do with any of it is your call.
The tools
The Capacity Planner, the Comp Plan Simulator and the URL & UTM Builder run in your browser, and nothing you type into them is sent to the site. They’re simplified calculators, so their answers are only as good as the numbers you put in. Check a result before you rely on it.
Using the content
The articles, explainers, guides, charts and the site’s design belong to Broad Eye Solutions LLC. You can read them, share links to them, quote short passages with credit and a link back, and put the ideas to work on your own team. Republishing a whole piece, selling it or passing it off as your own needs written permission from [email protected].
A guide’s PDF is emailed to you for you and your team. Anyone else can get their own copy from the guide’s page.
The templates and the blueprint
The CSV templates on Resources and the Signals and Attribution Blueprint on GitHub are open source under the MIT License. You can use, change and share them, as long as the license notice goes with them.
Research by others
The library summarizes published work by other people. That work belongs to its authors and publishers. Quotes are short and credited, and every entry links to the original.
The newsletter
Subscribing, with the consent box ticked, signs you up for the weekly issue, the welcome emails and any PDFs you ask for. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.
Stories you send
A story emailed to [email protected] is read. It’s only quoted or written up on the site with your permission, and with names and identifying details taken out unless you say otherwise.
Using the site fairly
Don’t try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or its forms, sign up anyone but yourself, or send sign-ups automatically.
Links to other sites
Links to broadeyesolutions.com, abovebaselinepro.com, GitHub, the booking calendar and the research the library cites go to sites with their own terms, and those terms apply there.
No warranties
The site, its content, its tools and its downloads are provided as they are and as available, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Broad Eye Solutions LLC isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, that comes from using the site, its content, its tools or its downloads. If Broad Eye Solutions LLC is ever found liable for anything to do with the site, the total is limited to $100.
Changes
These terms can change, and the date at the top moves when they do. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Massachusetts.
